At Courageous Counseling, my goal is to make therapy accessible with transparent payment. If you have questions that are not answered below, please reach out!

  • When utilizing insurance benefits, the fee will vary based on the type of service provided, length of session, and your insurance provider’s contracted rate. I am happy to answer any questions you may have about using insurance benefits, but I also recommend contacting your insurance provider to find out what is and is not covered. All clients are responsible for any charges your insurance plan doesn’t cover.

    If you are out-of-network, I am happy to provide you with statements (i.e., superbills) to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement (dependent on your benefits).

  • All counseling fees are based on the amount of time spent together and the reservation for your scheduled appointment slot. Payment is due at the time of service. It is practice policy to securely store a form of payment when our initial appointment is scheduled. I accept credit or debit cards, Health Savings Account (HSA), and Flex Spending Account (FSA) payments.

  • I have a 24-hour cancelation policy. If you do not show up for an appointment, or cancel within this 24-hour window, you will be charged the standard session fee.

    Note: Insurance does not cover late cancelations or missed appointments. All clients are responsible for paying the contracted rate.
